The Rockford Hawg Hunters club is affiliated with The Wisconsin Bass Federation, The Bass Federation, Inc. (TBF) and MLF. The club is composed of members from Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

The Club tournament director schedules up to 10 club tournaments per season to be fished between April and October. Club tournaments are single day events held predominantly on Sundays, with the possibility of an occaisional Saturday tournament as well.  

(No Boat is required to be a member).

Members are randomly paired by drawing names of boaters and non-boaters at the club meeting prior to the Tournament.  The goal is to allow each member to learn from others and improve their skills on various lakes and rivers under different conditions. Every effort is made to release all bass unharmed.

Club Tournament Cost
The cost for each tournament is $25 per person. There is also an optional $5 "Big Bass" pot (Individual) and a Team "Total Weight" pot ($10 per boat or $5 per person) with 100% pay back at each club tournament. In addition, co-anglers are required to split the tournament day costs with the boat owner.

Youth or Conservation Project
The Rockford Hawg Hunters are required to complete one youth or conservation project each year.  This can include holding a youth tournament, volunteering to run or help run a casting contest, cleanup around launches or waterways or any of a multitude of conservation and youth activities. 

Awards Banquet
The Annual Rockford Hawg Hunter Awards Banquet recognizes the top angler and co-angler from each tournament at the end of the season and wives or significant others are encouraged to attend.

Memberships
If you would like to share or improve your fishing skills or are looking for a chance to advance through competition to fish at the National SemiFinal Qualifier, National Semi Final, or at the national level, contact us and plan to attend one of our Thursday night meetings to find out more details.  There is a fee to become a member of the club.
